Yes fat riders going 10 mph on the MUP in team kit look silly, but so what. So do the folks who wear the jerseys for pro football or basketball teams, but that is their business. I personally prefer plain bike shorts and jerseys, ride a bit faster, and prefer not to ride on MUPs. That doesn't mean anyone else is obligated to make the same choices.
