In my town we have 1 block worth of bike lines in the entire city(not counting the very nice bike path which goes along the outskirts of like half the city) and it's the bumpiest brick road i've ever ridden a bike on(yesterday while riding it somehow the screws keeping one of my clips on came loose and fell off and because it was a ****ty brick road, finding tiny nuts and bolts was hard) and at the end of the lane you have to do a dangerous merge into the busiest road in town. I usually just stick to the road instead of bothering with the path.
