Besides having a fantastic ride today (I love spring) nothing on the bike front though thanks for asking. Yeah, I'm a bloody slow arse, I know. Just trying to get my other mate who's going to buy a bike going though. Rekons he only wants to spend a grand or $1200 at the most, which will probably get something like my first mate got which was an Orbea with Tiagra. Big problem is that the mate with the Orbea, even though he's had the bike back to where he bought it two times already, the thing keeps on spitting the chain off the front derailer. Pain in the arse when you're riding with him. Seems Tiagra front derailers are notorious for this so I'm trying to get my other mate to spend a bit more on a 105 bike. There's an Avanti 105 jobbie in the shop for $1800. So if I can get him going and buy at the same time as me then he might get his closer to $1500 and a bit more off mine to boot. But yeah, excuses. I'll get off my arse soon.

Thylacine: Man I HATE mainstream. Normally I do my best to get something a bit out of the norm. But truth be told, $4500 is a lot of money when you're not sure if the dude at the other end is some Nigerian scammer or not.
