Word! I've got an 88 GLi 16v, its got the recaros and everything. I started converting it to carbs about a year and a few months ago, got everything mechanical done, it was actually running (although out of tune) for a short while, but now its been sitting in the garage since last fall. I realized that I'm pretty proficient at taking things apart and putting things together, but tuning is not my forte. Now I'm just looking to get rid of it, for however much someone will pay for it (most people would probably want it for the parts).
