Manchaca is a town, I know. We nearly bought a house out that way. Just because a place is a town doesn't mean the locals are pronouncing the word correctly. How would anyone in the world who knows Spanish pronounce this Spanish word?
Granted, I pronounce as a local now, but you have to admit that nobody who knows anything about word pronunciation has a chance in hell of saying these the "right" way the first time.
I guess the pronunciations could be correct, and they're just spelled wrong
