In my opinion the frame is good but a 2000 reynolds fork is not something I would want. You can buy a much better fork now, assuming it's the right length after being cut, for $100 to $200.
I dunno - is this an 8 year old bike that's barely ridden with fairly pristine components or a heavily used rec road bike or even a race bike? That would determine whether or not it's worth it to part it out.
