It could very well be a 1990 model that was built in Mexico. Mr. Benotto married a Mexican woman wnd moved to Mexico in the late 70's, I think.

The diamond shaped rear stays are a nice Benotto feature.

You can usually source Benotto decals on ebay. Cyclemondo has very good reproduction decals as well. Thats if you want to go to that extent - it does look nice without the decals though.
