If I normally ride a road bike with a 56cm top tube with 10-11 cm stem, could I go down in size to a 55cm top tube on a track bike with a 11 or 12cm stem? I know this will make the handlebars a little lower and a slightly stiffer frame which should be good for a track bike. Correct? Do you want to set up a track bike in a similar position as your road bike or is there a more benifit to a more compact or stretched out position? Thanks
