Sorry I missed "...took the wheel to my bike shop." But for future reference should a problem arise: I worked in the bike biz for over 20 years, and any good shop wants to know when you are unhappy or when they might have overlooked something. They will generally give you the benefit of the doubt, especially for something that would take them a couple minutes to fix or explain to you.
