Depending on shape of frame (an early seventies-- pre 1974, anyway-- Peugeot UO8) that is an okay price. Fairly base Peugeot model from the time.

The prior owner looks like he's done some of the harder work for you, as either the BB cups or the spindle have been switched out-- they'd have to be, to take that crank, which is not original.

However, the bike may or may not have French issues, depending on the condition of the bearing races in the headset and BB. Usually, the stock HSs in those old Pug UOs are pretty much indestrucible. Replacements can be difficult for these two parts. Read sheldon browns site, theres an article on old frenchies www.sheldonbrown.com
