I would get regular toe clips and straps. They really aren't very hard to get into once you get the hang of it. I have used ALE alloy clips and MKS steel clips, they both worked just fine for me. I wear converse chuck taylors, so i can't feel the toeclip rubbing against my toe through the toebox of my shoe. At any rate, you shouldn't have to pay any more than $15 or $20 for a quality pair of toe clips, and they will be worth more than that to you.
