Whem I recently needed a shortwe stem, my bike shop hooked me up with a nice aluminum Reynolds for around $30. He mentioned I could get the fancier one at ~15g lighter for $90 if I wanted. I just can't imagine that being worth it, and i'm even a bit of a weight weenie (just look at my road build.)
