Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Thomson X2. Gotta love the machined alloy and laser etched logo.

I'm leaning towards the Thomson. We need to keep this guy employed. The X2 would look real cool on my Merlin too.

Funny how everyone was pointing me to the Deda and Thomson when those were the two I kinda liked. The Easton with the replaceable hardware had my interest as well. I ended up buying the Thomson on eBay from masherz. It's the final piece to my build, hope to have pics soon. Thanks for the input.

Bikes: Lynskey R310, Miyata 1000

Too bad the Cinelli Graphis is above that price range... That thing makes the Deda look pedestrian as far as bling-value goes:

Performance also has the Controltech 99 (99 grams) for $69, and now with 15% coup.
