No, I lost the back wheel through the turn because of the water. Thus, when I braked on the front wheel, it locked up pretty fast. There are bricks on that corner that were extremely slippery when wet -- just check the YouTube video of how many other people crashed for an idea on that.

Net effect is that I'm perfectly fine, save a scrape or two on one elbow. The bike has a few scratches, but who cares? Helmet isn't even scuffed -- I think it only touched the ground *after* stopping.
