The lid of the trailer is grooved and I thought about various ways of attaching bikes to it. However, the Yakima gives me peace of mind. The bikes are very secure. The best part of this set up is we store our camping gear in the trailer, which makes getting away on a weekend alot easier than trying to pack everything loose in the back of the car. Much safer as well. We can fit 2 tents, screen tent, 4 chairs, a folding table, stove and all the misc. camping gear for 4 people in there. Can you tell I want to get away and do some camping, been a long winter.
