SpiderMike, I'd like to have some comfort while still being able to cruise easier and not work my butt off while getting around. This is why I imagine larger (2 - 2.5") slick tires would fit my need better. Are the meatier tires a lot slower than the skinnier slicks? I'm not talking about super skinny road tires, but in the high 1" sizes.
