Greetings,

I have attached some pictures of my 72 Paramount frame. I am at a point where I am either going to have the frame painted or try and touch it up and ride it as is. I have a full campy 8-speed group that I’m going to build it up with.

First, do any of you think this is the original paint? I have my doubts since there is some over spray on the front fork lugs, you can see it in the attached photos

If I go with the current paint, what are your suggestions on caring for the paint and rust? The chips in the paint don’t worry me as much as the rust blisters. If I stay with the current paint, what is the best way to amend the blisters while making the current paint presentable? If there is no good solution then I’ll probably go ahead and have the frame painted.
