How many of you who own just a road bike sometimes wish you had something that was a bit more suited for off road? I'm kind of worried that I may regret selling it later.
$80 Walmart bikes aren't suited for off-road. They are not even suited for the road. They are suited for quietly rusting in a shed.
I am always for an extra beater, but using a Walmart bike for actually riding is too painful for me to even consider it as a back-up beater. I'd rather walk. If I were you, I might try selling the thing (though I don't know how much you can get for it, really), or donating it, or using it for parts if (and that's a big if) it has any parts worth bothering with.
