By the way, the new rapid fire shown on Pcads Ti MTB allow you to shift multiple gears at once ( I have them and they work very well) although I can't say that you can jump from 11 to 34 (hmmm I have been riding MTB's for a very long time and I can't remember the last time I needed / wanted to shift directly from my smallest to largest cog).
