I just made good use of a wal-mart bikes(roadmaster mountain bike, their cheapest one) rear hub and front spokes and rim,I just converted the rear wheel into a single speed freewheel for my trek classic cruiser.Took the rear hub, front rim and front spokes used it to build a rear freewheel wheel.I just have to buy the rear freewheel gear for it.

The coaster brake hub lasted only 2500 miles(9 months),so I know a freewheel hub will last longer than that, otherwise I will have to spend tons of money buying wheels and coaster brake hubs(almost every year).Since I already have a wheel that will work from parts that I have,I don't have to buy a new wheel for at least maybe 7500 miles 2 years.

oF course I must use the front brake.
