I wouldn't lay any claim to being "fast" but to show how meaningless average speed is - I rode a solo 115 a few weeks ago, with 6,092 feet of climbing, at 17.13 mph. Two weeks ago I did a solo 104 with 9,218 feet of climbing and 15.27 avg.
