I thought about it. The decals were all in okay shape. Some were peeling and I took those and ripped off the peeling parts so that it wouldnt spread. There are only a few spots where the paint was rough...chip off the down tube from the brake, a small bubble on the base of the head tube and a few scrapes here and there. In the end, I kept it original just because I didnt have the money to repaint.

I am hoping to keep it around for a while and possibly sell it on ebay. I wont lie and say the thought of selling the parts off and fixing it hadn't come to mind, but now after riding it, I think its better I went this route. I would have been worried about frame flex had that road been gone down.
