Just picked up this little beauty.
I tested a Specialized Chicago Langster (Gangster) but wasn't really diggin' the bullhorn bars. I loved the New York Langster, but the shop didn't have one
in my size and after riding the Chicago...figured it would feel the same. The ride was VERY harsh.
Then tested a 2007 Bianchi M.U.S.S. single speed and liked it, but on a whim, tested the Milano Citta and knew immediately it was the right bike for me.
It came with front/rear fenders and a rear rack, but I removed those when I got home. Love the twist shift for the 8 gears.
Shifts were quick, smooth, and quiet. No lag between gears at all. A twist of the wrist immediately changed gears.
The little woman didn't really like the color, but I had to explain to her that a Bianchi just isn't a Bianchi unless it's celeste.
She had to get a brief history lesson.
The folks at Daniel Boone Cycles in Houston were REALLY great and were patient with me as I test rode the bikes several times.
I'd hop off one and get right on another. I did this several times and kept going back to the Milano.
