OK, so I'm in a team, and good to go for RAGBRAI 2008. The longest organized ride I've done prior to this was the Seattle to Portland (STP) in 2006. I think I have the training thing down for this endurance ride, and I'm well on my way (at least in my own mind) to being ready physically. What I was hoping somebody could share, is all the other gems of advice for everything else...ie comfort items, special equipment that might make the week more enjoyable, etc, etc. I heard that camp showers are banned for environmental reasons, so is there an alternative to personal hygene? What about special camping equipment?
