The tensioner has that spring built in which only lets it go back about .8mm or something (which seems to slightly defeat the point I guess).
It has a small flat head screw head inside and outside just a textured head for finger turning. Might just break them off.
I would really rather not go through the hell of putting links back in with no masterlink. Took me forever with the tiny chain breaker on my multi tool.
