I looked at the Felt, and agree it was pretty nice. Not sure if I want aluminum though. Also, another thing I have noticed, there seems to be two types of off the shelf fixed gear/single speeds (aside from track vs. road geometry.) Some, like the Felt or the Capo, seem to me to be very similar to many typical geared road bikes, by that I mean they remind me of just about every low to mid range road bike but are either fixed or have one gear, nice and shiny, etc. The other type, the steamroller, the 2 raleighs, salsa casseroll, etc. seem to have a different, maybe vintage look. Maybe its the aluminum, maybe I like the latter much better. I also think a solid color frame with all silver components is tough to beat in the looks department.
