I have these pedals - caveat: don't flame me for being a money-wasting sellout, I was given them by my dad who had them around from before his conversion to the clipless darkside.

Not exactly sure what to say about them... they're super as you might expect, since they're worth as much as the rest of my bike combined. Very smooth bearings, super light, ride great. The platform is smaller than any other pedals I've ever seen.

I'd say from my experience riding a friend's bike with shimano 600 pedals that the difference isn't worth that much money though.
