Vittoria Evo Corsa CX Open Vs. Conti GP4000

Hi All,

Looking for some advice from the net.gurus.

Late last year I upgraded the tyres on my Felt F55 to the Vittoria Open Evo Corsa CX. I have to say I absolutely *loved* the ride feel. Felt like I was riding on butter, and I'm convinced it added speed to my ride.

However..... I have to say the number of punctures rocketed upwards when I was riding it.

Since then, I have installed the Conti (Red) GP4000 on my Cervelo.. they seem solid as anything and have had no punctures at all, but the ride feel is totally different.

Is it worth my getting a new set of Evo Corsa's? Are the 2008 versions more puncture resistant? Is there another tyre which has the same ride feel as the Corsa CX but is more resilient?

Thanks,

Gavin
