Just finished putting my new commuter together. It's a Giant Escape M2, with older Shimano Deore Mech, Shifters and Brake Levers. Also non-standard are the Specialized Hemisphere Armadillo 26x1.95 tyres, the Specialized saddle the Thorn handlebar and ODI grips. Replaced the very basic flats with some used and abused DMR V8's and it's ready to go.

Still waiting for mudguards and a Deore chainset before it's 100%.

*oh, and it's a rather hefty 28lbs, but then it was chosen for sturdiness rather than flat-out speed.
