I agree with most people xtr and xt is mostly weight maybe some slight differance none i can tell. I made a hybrid rear derailer xtr top part and spring, Xt lower arm with the rollers. works great i also keep a back up XT derailer just in case. I do run the xtr cassette becuase i got deals on the last 1 one xtr part i havent broke yet.
