I've just about convince myself to do "it". It being forgoing the foreplay with my truck and just heading out directly from my house on my bike. A couple of guys from Sugarcycles in Missouri City, Texas (place i bought my bike) take a rural route to and from downtown. When I first heard about it, I thought they were insane; however, that was before I felt comfortable on the road with traffic.

Now that I've built up some endurance, I'm sure I can handle it. I was driving about 7 miles to ride 18. Why not just ride 20 miles from my house?

I'll believe I'll be trying this route tomorrow.
