Thats the plan in my head, She might have something to say about that though as she likes the look of the drop bars... things change though and with a few rides she might want to start changing things up. My number one priority is to give her a bike that she feels comfortable on.

The bike had been sitting in a garage for 20 years before I bought it and was complete (the original suede seat is in great shape and surprisingly comfy) but the chain, derailleures, cables, and brakes where shot and I wanted to ride! I know the moto must look like a franken bike at the moment with all the seemingly half-arsed mods on it but I do have a plan! I'm a minimalist in many things and I just love the look of a clean clean machine so I'm going to stick it out with the SS conversion and single front brake on some wrapped alum Pivo pars (if I can ever find them.) I'm by no means a purist when it comes to things and prefer to personalize things...If I upset somebody please don't send the mob after me.

Now the norman is the one thats bugging me, Do I completely restore it, or just get it ridable and become one with the rust...

life is so hard
