Maybe for something to do to break up the monotony of road traning. I used to to a bit of pissweak gym stuff too (the numbers I used to lift never fail to make me laugh) it was good fun and a top perve for a young bloke!!
But in a perfect world, a 90 minute strength effort session on the hills around Warrandyte > 90 minutes of gym work.
