i agree that because you seem to have money to spend, you should look into getting a cheaper bikesdirect bike like a kilo tt to learn about the parts and building a bike and to beat up on while you learn. They're a fraction of the cost of those NJS frames and you won't feel bad when you beat them up, break them down and rebuild them. You can always sell them for about what you paid for and go into your NJS build as a better informed, more experienced buyer/builder.
However, if you feel confident in what you're doing however, do whatever the F you want, it's your money. Good luck on your project.
