Frame Opinions

they're all good frames
value... depends how much your paying if you're buying a new one.. i'd say they're worth it but it is a pretty penny... if you're riding it on the street find a used frame.
are you looking to buy one? is there a particular reason you picked out those 3 njs framebuilders?

Yes, this will be my first bike and I'd like to get something that is more or less at the higher end of the quality and value scale so that I don't outgrow a frame and be forced/or have a desire to get a better one.

seriously though, get a kilo tt. learn about bikes, parts, building, and braking....before you get a NJS track bike that you know nothing about. all name no game is no good.

i agree that because you seem to have money to spend, you should look into getting a cheaper bikesdirect bike like a kilo tt to learn about the parts and building a bike and to beat up on while you learn. They're a fraction of the cost of those NJS frames and you won't feel bad when you beat them up, break them down and rebuild them. You can always sell them for about what you paid for and go into your NJS build as a better informed, more experienced buyer/builder.
However, if you feel confident in what you're doing however, do whatever the F you want, it's your money. Good luck on your project.

that being said, i am familiar with those frame brands only by name but i am certain they are quality and would be more than adequate for a first bike. i would like to offer my concern that as your first FG bike you will more than likely wreck (to what degree is uncertain). Thus, it may be wise to work your way into your ultimate dream bike.
i would suggest you do a conversion or buy a low cost <300 fame and build it up yourself or order the parts you desire and have it built. you can always transfer those parts to a more quality frame later as your skills and knowledge become more proficient.

don't listen to these haters, my first bike was a nagasawa
haha on a serious note... if u have to ask... u aren't in the know
if u desire one of these frames...i recommend u search a lil more...and go out and buy one, build it, ride it... instead of asking bikeforums.

I saw a kid that must have 15/16 riding a NAGASAWA yesterday. (brake-less) 20 seconds later he ran into a parked car, bent the fork to high hell and cracked his Aerospoke. I laughed on the outside but was crying on the inside. I stopped to help him. HE should have been on a TT. Oof. Food for thought.

I just wanted to thank everyone who offered constructive comments in response to my original posting although I really can't believe that there are so many others who are disrespectful.
My friends have been teaching me a lot about all aspects of riding. I was already riding brakeless and skidding after 10 minutes of getting on a fixed gear for the first time! It was scary, but lots of fun. Recently, I converted a $20 road bike into fixed gear to use in the meantime. I'm trying to learn to track stand - any advice on this would be great!
So I ended up buying a Giro frame from NJS Exports. I really want a Panasonic frame, but a graduate student income doesn't quite allow for me to go that high at this point.
