Ah, so you got that! I watchlisted it out of interest. Looks okay but then, I think that because it's old and anything that survives that long is okay to me.

Yes, the X went for a lot but never having seen one myself I assume it's a 'rare, collector's item'. I expected it to go for a lot. It looks pretty hard to get comfortable on, though.

The Tiverton Tourist went for £36, a pound more than I bid. I'm now looking at http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...:X:AAQ:GB:1123

If it's old enough I think I'll buy it. It's huge, though. I've asked the seller what the stand-over height is as I don't want to hurt myself. It's 25.5 inches c to t.

I would have gone to around $350 if the seller had been anyone other that the Sultan of Flakeland. It's a lovely frame.
