The first time I entered the LBS nearest where I live, I asked what they had in the way of 1" threadless headsets (as mine had failed catastrophically). The only employee in the shop at the time, an old man in a shop apron, told me "It is illegal to listen to music while riding."
Then I realized it was worth it to drive a little farther.
