I started reading this thread, got a cuppa and came back to finish. I did have to
give up coffee for awhile because of one of its nasty side effects. It was keeping
me awake at work. But at night it doesn't. I used to often have a few cups before
bed and then crash. It was a thread like this in a forum that made me realize that
the topic of coffee combined a lot of my jokes and recipes with my newly developed
"handyman's theory of evolution" and it became the index page of my little sig site,
at http://mainlytext.com I can't say much about the effects on a person's health,
but you might enjoy reading about what it is doing to evolution.

Edit: I just found a link I was looking for. This report says that coffee has more
fiber than orange juice. I didn't think of fiber as something that can go through a
coffee filter, but to a nutritionist it can.

I mentioned this to someone I know and she said "So when I have my coffee and a
Snickers bar, it's a health food breakfast?" (She's a thinker.)
