Cedar Rapids is a big enough cycling town that you will have a shop or two in town (assuming they weren't too close to the river) who has the Stronglight puller. Usually just a few bucks to get someone to pull a crank for you. If you are very nice to them you might find an old guy who wants to talk about old bikes in the process and that could be a valuable future resource.
