how do I get the crank out of my px10?

Velo Orange sells the well-made Stein unit for $45, might seem like a lot of $ but it'll last through your Grandchildren's lifetimes
. You could also try to borrow one (or the use of one with the hands of the owner) from somebody on this forum who has one and is local. I made the offer to a guy in my SF Bayeria and did the job for him so I didn't risk the tool getting "lost" or damaged...and he got it done *right*!

Find the LBS in your area that has the oldest living service guy, and have him do it.
Unless you plan on doing a lot of these cranks, it's probably not worth buying a tool for a one time use.

I agree. If you have a stronglight crank, you need a stonglight crank puller. Sorry.

Cedar Rapids is a big enough cycling town that you will have a shop or two in town (assuming they weren't too close to the river) who has the Stronglight puller. Usually just a few bucks to get someone to pull a crank for you. If you are very nice to them you might find an old guy who wants to talk about old bikes in the process and that could be a valuable future resource.
