Funny - evidently some people thought he was asking for advice as to whether he should be using the gear indicator. Just so they understand, he wasn't. I hate to speak for him, but I doubt if he gives a rat's patoot whether you think gear indicators are worthwhile or not. He uses his and would like to know how to illuminate it. Sounds like a reasonable question to me, and he's gotten a couple of good suggestions.
