Me too. Had a nice road bike without one jump the chain and totally destroy the wheel. Yeah, I know all about the limit screws. But it's the nature of mechanical stuff to go out of trim for whatever reason. And if you saw how a swallowed chain took out or seriously bent EVERY spoke on the drive side just for the sake of saving about 5 grams then I think we'd all use them.... I know that I do on all my bikes other than the single speeds (room to let the chain hit the freewheel so they aren't needed).

Frankly I think DG got her the new bike just so he COULD have a reason for lagging back....
