Check craigslist/ebay. The theif may sell it there, or maybe the person that buys it for $200 will try to get $800. I would check all listings for $300 or more for a few months. You might also ask at LBSs, the theif may try to unload it there or atleast get advice there. You might also post a no questions asked reward. I would guess the bike is still in the area. Also post to the Bike Friday msg board, Bike Friday people are the ones most likely to buy one. If you see someone on a old bike, ask where you can get a used bike. There might be some flea market you never knew existed.
