Through clever rearrangement of furniture, the spare bedroom now hosts the two-bike gravity rack. Thus, Ruby and "what's her name" (the new Giant) live in there, and seem to get along so far.
But, I've relegated the grocery bike to the Great Outdoors because it's too heavy and clunky to keep in the bathtub. Yes, I realize the bike will slowly deteriorate out there, but if I keep it in the garage six blocks away it won't get used at all.
DG, don't fret over the errand bike. My trusty old Trek almost lives outdoors
year 'round and it's doing just fine: snow, road salt, rain, mud, nothing seems to
bother it too much. Of course I do have to clean and lube it once in a while....
