That's his point exactly. He did something that is not recognized because nobody cares. The marketplace of recognition, if you will, that should be decided by private individuals. Which he then extends to sports. And then to engineers and implying everything else.

Since the article is really about politics, it's pretty hard to talk about the actual content without crossing the line into P&R.
