I have much experience with these things and while bike fit, core strength and flexibility and posture are all critical factors that you should examine, get your condition diagnosed by a professional orthopeadic doc now, one who specializes in the spine. My unprofessional opinion is you do have a bulging disk but no one can know that positively without an MRI. Herniated or not, you will need to pay attention to this the rest of your life because if you think it's bothering you now, trust me, it can get a LOT worse. Good luck!
Yep. I've had bulging and herniated disk. Never known such pain! Anyway, physical therapist helped a ton. Different stretches and life activities have helped tremendously. no more heavy weight lifting, golf or softball. Led me to biking and has been great!

Get prob figured out then adjust bike (see a fitting specialist) and, hopefully, all will be well with you. Good luck
