I havent done this ride, so I cant speak to how well run (or not) it is, hopefully with a bike shop in Rockwall again things will get better.

HOWEVER, I can speak for the route. Chip Seal, Chip Seal, Chip Seal!!! expect a steady vibration in your hands and arms, and bring your legs, because the route has serious rolling hills, you will skip the worst ones on FM 552, but the two long routes will punish you.

Even though I live in Royse City, I cant do it due to the fact I'm working
I am aiming for Cotton Patch in Greenville in September. I hear that is well run.

If you do Hot Rocks, hydryate well and enjoy
