Topeak really stands behind their products, and I like their products. I have an old Zefal Husky whose hose sprung a leak and whose presta head wore out. I replaced the hose and pump head with the Topeak Smarthead kit and the pump has a new lease on life. The pumphead is actually superior to the old one in functionality. I have other Topeak pumps (frame pumps) and when one of the heads broke they sent a new one out right away.
