I had a grinding noise coming from my BB area before, but after inspection I found that the chain was extremely dry. Once I put some bioshield on it worked and felt great.
Also make sure that the chain isn’t ribbing on the derailleur.
hi, thanks, i thought i might be the chain, i cleaned it with the 'white lightning' chain degreaser...then lubed w/ 'finish line' it seems all the links on chain rotate freely...
