I just checked with Virgin. Cheapest I can get is $270, and that doesn't include the bike, so I'll skip the inaugural run. I'll save my nuts and berries ready for another one early next year. Maybe a quick roll from Bendigo to Melbourne, or something equally insane. And make sure there's beer involved somewhere, not just sissy cakes and cappu-fargin-chino.
